Description

QUICK NOTE OFF THE TOP : These are made to order! So, it CAN take me up to five days to make and ship these, depending on how many orders I have. These are my best selling item!

However, I will ALWAYS make sure to get your bookmarks to you in time for special occasions like birthdays, holidays, etc. As much notice as possible is helpful, however!

These ship First Class, which is usually three to five days (but more often than not, closer to three days). If you have a last minute order and perfer to ship Priority Mail (which is two to three days), please let me know before checking out so I can change the shipping amount.

ALL OF THE FLOWERS ARE REAL PRESSED FLOWERS! Some are dyed, but all are real! I randomly select the flowers and colors I use; you can most certainly request specific flowers and colors, and I'll do my best to accommodate!

These are large bookmarks, measuring 8 and 1/2 inches tall by 2 and 1/2 inches wide. They can be used in any sized book.

Every bookmark is ONE OF A KIND! I try to give you a nice variety of colors, types of flowers, and designs. These all have Organza ribbon tassels which will match the colors in the bookmarks. You can request them WITHOUT tassles as well! Just send me a note to let me know!

These make great stocking stuffers, gift enhancements (attaching them to ribbons on gifts), party & wedding favors; people have also ordered them as gifts for book club members, garden club members, and some teachers have ordered them as little gifts for their students!

These large bookmarks sell for $4 a piece at craft shows & farmers markets, so there's a discount ordering them online.

I will definitely do LARGE orders -- such as bulk amounts of 50, 100, etc. I can sometimes give a bit of a discount for large orders like these, but being that they are all handmade by myself (on average it takes about five minutes per bookmark which includes running them through the laminator -- this comes out to a rate of about 12 per hour), the price typically remains the same -- $3 per bookmark. But please DO inquire and ask any questions you like! I will try to work within budgets.

Lastly -- ENJOY! As a book - lover, I'm elated that so many people still love the good, old - fashioned feel, smell, and process of holding a book in their hands and reading it!

Shipping policies

Your item will be mailed within three to five business days, or sooner depending on the item. The standard shipping method is Priority Mail via the USPS to ensure faster delivery and more delicate handling. Please message me before payment if you are interested in insurance. Delivery confirmation is standard on all shipments. Please do let me know if there is any damage to your pressed flower art when it arrives. I don't want anyone to be stuck with a damaged piece of art, so we can work out a way to fix it!

Additional policies

In order to keep your pressed flower art looking vibrant indefinitely, make sure to hang or display the piece indoors, and preferably out of direct light. Each piece does have layers of protectant on it, but no matter how much I put on, a piece that sits in direct, beating sunlight day after day after day will fade. On a wall in your home, out of direct sunlight, it will last! You can also refresh the coating and shine on your piece at any time by buying an aerosol can of high gloss acrylic. You can usually find this at a hobby store, or even at Home Depot or Lowe's. It must be aerosol. Hold the can about six inches from the piece and lightly spray on the coating. I refresh pieces I have at home all the time. The wonderful thing about the aerosol acrylic is that the coats do not build upon one another and get gummy. If you have a piece of art of old fencing or barn wood, you can refresh the sheen by buying an aerosol polyurethane spray and doing the same thing. Again, polyurethane does not protect the piece enough to hang it outdoors in the sun and elements. The flowers will lose their colors.
You can dust a piece by using canned air--the same type of air duster you would use for a computer keyboard.
